Last week Eric & I had 'date nite' which turned out to be 'all of our friends out' nite. It was so much fun to be out with everyone...no kids, no curfews...so random that it ended up that way but I had such a blast!!( but no pics of my & the hubby :( ...)Tonight was Kiddie Kollege graduation and it turned out that Luke was paired with Drew & Mason with Zoe so we got tons of great pictures and video. We also managed to get a few of all of the kids together, they have basically known each other from birth and we are all such good friends, it was too cute!!The 'berger' boys. Gotta love them! Happy Memorial Weekend! We are off to Shaver Lake tomorrow for some fun, friends & chilly times!

Jills Visit & Mothers Day
This past weekend I was lucky enough to have Jill come visit from Chicago. I love love love every time she comes to visit, we have such a great time and she is an amazing friend & person.Friday night I got to have dinner with my besties & we had so much fun laughing & telling stories, truly a wonderful time with my girls. Sunday morning we took the boys up to the tram for what will probably be the last of the snow for the year. They enjoyed every last pile of it and left cold, wet & happy. We also had a birthday party Sunday afternoon for Tash & Zolt. A beautiful day with lots of fun. Ty was in heaven and Drew is the best hula hooper I have ever seen!! Girl has some moves!!The big boys played tackle football, the big guys some bag in the box and the little ones had a picnic.and of course Vern and I had to take picture of ourselves...silly, but we love it! Thanks to each & every one who made my weekend so fabulous & a special thanks to all of my boys for a happy mother's day! I am truly blessed.

Part 2-The Beach!
Sunday we woke up and wen to the tidepools in Ocean Beach and then went to play in the waves at Mission Beach. In OB we caught crabs in a pail-super fun activity-and let them go & scatter everywhere. Ty brought his money and bought himself and his brother's boogie boards. It was a little chilly but they went running to the beach with their new boards, got about ankle deep and came running back, Ty claiming he 'forgot' how to do it and maybe he'd try next time we came to the beach....it was chilly water but a beautiful day!!!

San Diego Part 1
On Saturday we loaded up the kids and headed to San Diego for a fun filled 2 days!! We stopped in Escondido at Stone Brewery for a fantastic lunch, a walk in their beautiful gardens and of course, some beer tasting & shopping! This could either by Ty practicing his future bouncer look or irritated I was taking so long in the shop.....We took one of those bike thingys along the water to the trolly station & took the trolly to Petco park to the Padres Game! It was a jersey give away night, more like dresses on the boys. Ty really enjoyed it, the twins were a bit iffy, lasted about 4 innings and were more interested in the treats that kept coming up and down the rows.Mace & Daddy enjoying some clams & mussels after the game at the Fish Market on the water. A perfect end to a perfect day!

Babes in Legoland
Last Wednesday my lucky little boys got picked up from school early and my parents took them to San Diego for a beach/legoland vacation. They have been talking about Legoland for a while, never had been there but Ty had been and raved about it. They had so much fun on all of the rides, especially the 'twisty' one and loved every minute. The got to go to the beach and have dinner at Anthony's on the water, a fave of my parents. They had their fill of clams and calamari. I'm so thankful my parents live close by and are able to take my kids to do such fun things. They are at such a great age to do this stuff and are amazed at the littlest things. They stayed at a beautiful hotel in PB, Tower 23. This is the sunset from their room. Luke and Dad are enjoying the couches in the distance...a beautiful life....thanks mom & dad, for loving my kids and all and making every minute they spend with you extra special!!!
