What they are saying now.....

Mason & Luke are at such a funny age. I just wanted to write down a few of their favorite things....Mason's favorite phrase is 'need that', especially when I am putting on makeup, so funny!!! Luke's demand is 'MY DO' in exactly that tone, from putting on his shirt to putting toothpaste on the brush, messy but interesting. Every day it amazes me how similar they look and yet how completely different they truly are. Maybe if Ty was the same exact age I would do the same with him but I remember such an easy kid, a typical Hershberger. Lukey is definitely a Fetchenhier, stubborn and particular. After telling my parents about Luke saying MY DO to everything they reminded me how my favorite saying was 'I DO IT', he is for sure my kid.
I am so happy to hear from people who are reading my blog from far away that I don't get to see or talk to as often as I would like to and I am glad I get to share the most important part of my life with everyone. Thanks Stacy & Cherie for checking in!! I miss & love you guys!!!
So....I had some minor surgery this week and had to stay with my parents for a few nights so as not to wear myself out, I am not a sitter-arounder, even with doctors orders. I could have not done this without the help of my parents, of course my loving husband, two WONDERFUL friends, Tash for taking Ty in the afternoon and Auntie Julie-one of the best things to ever happen to my kids. Thanks for everything. Tasha & I always say everyone needs an Auntie Julie, someone who runs around with your kids when you are too tired, making dinner, cleaning, etc...and always is there to take them out on a date to make them feel extra special!!! Also, our roommates/nanny/Em & Iven...always a huge help!!! Thanks for making this so easy for me!!
Love you!!
Oh, and by the way, Vern & Lillie, Eric says you guys can for sure come on our next anniversary!!! I say Mark & Ross get to come too.......

Chuckwalla Camping Trip

Before we got married we used to go out to the Chuckwalla mountains for opening quail day. That group still goes but this year Eric decided to start his own group. There were about 30 people and they had a great time. This is Eric, Troy and Ty (he's hidden in the back behind all of the stuff!!!) about to leave. Notice Eric strapped Ty's jeep onto his, must have been a sight driving down the 10!!!
I still can't figure out how to rotate, sorry!!! This is Ty with Zachy & Redman. If you look close, Redman is holding a lizard he shot thru the stomach with a bb gun from about 20 feet, all of the men were VERY impressed, not to mention all of the other kids.
This looks like a pretty serious game of poker!! Ty is already taking about his next camping trip, he loves being daddy's buddy.

Halloween Parade & Church

Ty's school, Kiddie Kollege puts on a Halloween parade with all 4 classes and they they sing spooky Halloween songs & have a party. It is so cute and the kids love parading around for the parents and younger kids.

Ty's teacher, Miss Bernice, read a story to the class before the party and Luke wanted in on the action so he went & sat in Ty's lap. It was so darn cute!!!
The twins are not so brave as Ty so to go down the slide at church, Julie had to go too! I actually have the same picture from 3 years ago, Julie taking Ty down the slide!!
