What's happening.

Last week Ty's all star team had a warm up tournament in Beaumont.  They played great and I'm looking forward to the 1st all star tournament in Palm Springs next weekend.

Luke and Mason helped pass out flyers for a fund raiser for their travel team.  They were quite good at it!

Ty.

Adrian spent the night last Saturday and they had a push up contest....

The non baseball player was out after 4 pushups!!  They went to 30.

Sunday morning we decided it was time to take care of the rooster problem.  They were pecking at the hens and crowing at 5:30am.  Not a good thing.

Daisy wanted nothing more than to 'play' with the chickens.

I'll spare the actual process of how they went from roosters running around the yard to dinner but the end product turned out quite delicious.

President Obama stopped by.

Ty and I at dinner with my P's

Birthday gift from Gabe, he knows me well.

Power game with Luke last night.

Rocky came over to wish me a happy birthday, it was a fun night!  Now on to Pasadena for the weekend!!!

The week in pictures.

Ready for the 5th grade dance!

Tournament in Perris.

New Kicks.

A little fishing.

And then you rub it all over yourself.

Slip and slide at Workman.

Last day of School and 5th Grade Promotion

The twins came home the last day wearing their colored bodies, very proud of themselves.

Ty's 5th Grade Promotion was yesterday and so cute.  My parents came, the twins got out of class and Eric was even able to sneak away for a few minutes to see him get an award and his diploma.

Ty and Lauren.

Ty and Keith.  He has grandkids at the school and has been there every morning and afternoon since Ty has been at Katherine Finchy.  The kids love him and he is such a great influence.  Ty wrote him a letter thanking him for all the time he puts in and how much he appreciates him.  Keith had tears in his eyes telling me about it.  I was impressed.

Ty and Luke.

Ty and Christian.

Ty and Mrs Thompson.  She's retiring this year and I'm bummed the twins won't have her, such a caring and thoughtful teacher.  Ty is holding his Golden Presidential Award for Academic Fitness.  Lots of parameters that I don't remember but one is a 3.5 GPA for all of 4th and 5th grade.  Pretty proud of this kid.

After the ceremony some parents all met up with their hooligans at IHOP.

Mace and Luke got awards too, Mason for 'Mad Scientist' since he loves science.

Luke for 'Math Wizard'

Mrs. Ruppert.

He's turned into such a compassionate and caring, smart and funny, charismatic boy, he's such a great leader and we could not be more proud.

Supporting our Troops

In November the boys and I put together packages and they each chose a branch of the military overseas to send the package too.  We got a response today from Ty's package to an army platoon stationed in Kuwiat.  The picture was so cool and the letter brought me to tears, I always get choked up when we are at events and they ask military to stand so that we can applaud them...I'm so happy to know that we made some of our men and women serving our country smile with our package.  We will for sure do it again.

The Chicks and some ball

The favorite gathering spot.  We hate that.

Luke and Mace had a tournament in Beaumont this past weekend.  They beat the Hawgs and then lost in a heartbreaker to the Tomateros on Saturday.

Luke got to catch game 1.

My pics love to get out of order, this is Mason and Ty doing the race around the bases at the Power game against Peyton and Drew.

After the games in Beaumont on Sunday we watched the AC race cars, fun for the boys.
