Chicks, Parties & Baseball

Our chicks are getting bigger and they love to roam around the yard.  We still have all 14.

Last week we went to dinner with great friends at Vue in Indian Wells, it was delicious and beautiful.

On Good Friday we took the boys to the water park and there was a real life Caddyshack incident.  Needless to say, we did not venture in the wave pool again.

Saturday we went to Emmy's 2nd birthday party where you had to decorate an egg to look like yourself, Luke got himself decorated.

Luke tried once again to hold Juan Pablo.

The big kids teamed up with the littles to help them with the egg hunt.  It was weird moving on the that next stage where my kids are the 'big kids'

Ty played with Emmy in the pool.

Ali and I went to high school together and I'm lucky that she comes down here for Coachella once a year from Seattle, it's always fun to see her!

My only pics from Easter thanks to Julie.  29 people and lots and lots of fun.

This weekend turned into baseball every day.  Twins had practice on Friday night and Saturday morning, getting tournament ready.

My BA chick boy.

Ty had a baseball clinic on Saturday morning put on by two former Dodger players.

Sunday was a chilly 52 in Beaumont for Luke and Mason's tournament.  We lost both games which was a bummer but this team has only been together for about 2 months, we hope they continue for years.  I really enjoy the kids and the parents. Good people.

Cabo 2014

Last weekend we headed down to Cabo for our 2014 fishing trip with Niko, Kerri and EQ.  We stayed at the same place as last year, Marina Fiesta, and had a blast.  I love Cabo, no bad days.

We got in about 6 on Thursday and headed down to the Carpe Diem to meet Captain Jeff for a cocktail. We ended up hanging out on the boat for awhile and headed out for sushi.

Friday dawned beautiful and we were off for some catching at 7:30am with Captain Jeff, Chris, Yogi and Juanito.

We had a great day, 6 marlin, 3 in the boat and a double hook up for Eric and I.  We had them all smoked and came home with lots of fish.

Suzy and Pancho the seals road the boat into the harbor with us, I guess they are used to Yogi feeding them!

Our Crew.

On Saturday everyone went golfing except Niko and me, we enjoyed some beach and boat tour time on our own. Love that girl!

Baseball and Parties

Two weeks ago the twins had another tournament in Coachella.  They came in 2nd place after 3 games.  Luke had a home run and triple in game 1 and got MVP and Mason had a home run in game 2, they had so much fun!

It was a long day with rest between games.

That night Tash and Zolt had a lovely dinner party for her dad, stepmom, sister and boyfriend that were visiting from England.

Last week we celebrated Gabe's birthday with a surprise dinner at his house.  Luke kept trying to hold Juan Pablo in his lap but at 11 months he just wanted to be on the move.

The awesome cake.

Tash sent me this throw back pic of Zoe and the twins blowing kisses, they are the CUTEST!!!

Baseball, sunshine and chicks.

Baseball is in full effect.  The twins play rec ball 2 nights a week, in this game Mason pitched and Luke was catcher.

We went to the water park opening weekend, 90 at the end of March was too nice to pass up!

Last Friday Gabe held a Tequila tasting at his house,  he is friends with Alderete Tequila and they set it up so nice.  It was really tasty and fun to learn about the making of tequila.

After practice on Saturday Eric and I took 6 boys to pizza and home to play.  It was a long fun day.

Dinner at the Posas.

Our chicks have arrived.  All 14 are happy and healthy and growing so fast!  Hopefully we'll have 14 eggs a day in about 4 months.

Cali watched the chicks from afar.  Pretty soon her instincts kicked in and she started to shake, refraining herself from getting them!

He's such a good chicken daddy.

Luke and Mason also play travel ball for the Desert Elite. They had a tournament in Beaumont on Sunday, 1st game at 8am.

The Elite.

Took the boys for some ice cream at Rite Aid.

And poolside at Spa with a Bahama Mama with good friends.

My baby.  I have so much to write about her but can't bring myself to do it yet.

The boys nailed her tag to a cross and put it up in the backyard.  We all wrote messages to her on the back.

Eric and the boys sent me flowers at work on Tuesday, for Cali.  So sweet.
