Family things.

I made Eric and Advent calendar out of IPA's this year...just to get him in the Christmas spirit.  It worked!!!!

This handsome guy is now snipped and chipped.  The cone was not his favorite but we didn't leave it on very long.  He now has the run of the house and outdoors all day.  We never know what he's going to get into.  Last Friday I left the casita door open and Eric called me when he got home, he said it looked like Christmas threw up in our backyard.  He got into the bows and wrap, had a great time.

We received a fantastic surprise in the mail last week from Zack and Jessi.  Pickles and beer!!!  One jar of pickles was gone before the night was over.  The beer lasted one more day....Thank you for the thoughtful gift!! You know us all well!

We went to a Christmas party last weekend and the boys had fun being boys with fireworks and fire.

These two snugglers.

Saturday was the Festival of Lights parade downtown.  The Kaminsky's hosted a wonderful party as always with the RV and we all had such a good time.

A perfect view.

Vikings vs. Seattle = dog party.

Luke and Mason had their football banquet and got their trophy's and pics.

And Friday night with the Chess tournament!!  They have been in the chess club since September and love it.  This was their first tournament.  First place for Luke and 2nd for Mason.

Their school won overall.

Our next door neighbors live full time in San Fran but have a vacation home next to us.  They got married and had a wonderful celebration at the Avalon Hotel downtown this past weekend.

They had one table for all 50 of us, fantastic food and mariachis!!!

They happy couple.

Overall a wonderful few weekends with my boys and great friends.  We are very blessed.

Lots of outdoor fun!!

Mason got a fresh new haircut.

It looks great after wearing a hat.

Ty got a 4.0!!!

This guy decided we need an early white Christmas.

We went to the Hops and Props beer fest at the Air Museum last weekend with lots of friends, it was a great time, just like last year!

Eric took Mason and Auggie on a lovely hike to Dry Falls on Sunday.

I took Monday off and we enjoyed the weather with a family walk to Taco Asado for breakfast.

My Thanksgiving flowers.

Cindy took Luke shopping and got some photo-ops.

Saturday the boys and I went to the Tram for Roman's birthday.

Snow!!!

It was a beautiful 23 degrees, a big difference from the 70s we have on the desert floor!

We had fun hiking around and getting as much untouched snow as we could.

The old tram cars.

Sunday 10 of us went to North Glamis for some sand fun.  Auggie was not too sure in the back of the jeep.

Mason took off like a champ and only took a break after a hard tumble over the handle bars.

Luke's turn!

Julie rented a quad.

Mason taking a well deserved break.

Kerri rented a 4 person RZR and it was SO MUCH FUN to drive!!!  I loved it!

Jules and Luke.

Ty probably rode about 20 miles and killed it.  He has the right amount of skill and fear.

The king of the hill.

Kerri loves this stuff, she used to race.  This was a last hurrah before her knee surgery this week.  We will for sure be back for more fun!
