My angels and a wedding

Mason went to an award dinner for his team winning the basketball season and he brought home these capes for the boys.  They loved them and even wore them to the Palm Springs Power home opener that night.

I should have turned this but....Mason is #18 in his whole school for reading points for the year.  He got this award and a $10 card to a book store.

Saturday Julie and I took Ty and Mason to the Angels-Tigers game.  5 Angel home runs in the first two innings made for an exciting start.  Julie was the only one not too happy!!

Saturday we went to a wedding in Idyllwild.  It was 105 in the desert and 84 up in the mountains.  A beautiful location for a beautiful wedding.  We have turned the corner from going to friend's wedding to going to the weddings of our friends kids!

We stopped to admire the view on the drive home.

Mr & Mrs

Chuck and his handsome boys.  We met Chuck and Mary when their boys were 5 and 7 and my boys grew up going to their high school baseball games.  It has been fun to watch them grow into such amazing young men.  My boys really look up to them so I use them as examples all the time....'Would Ben or Joey do that?'  We are lucky because Ben and his new bride babysit for us sometimes and they get down and dirty with the kids.
