A nothing weekend that turned out filled with fun stuff!
On Saturday there were a ton of people walking thru our neighborhood for a 'historic modernism walking tour' so the boys asked if they could do a lemonade stand, quite clever of them and they made bank!!! Ty made a sign and got a little mad when Mason drew a heart on it, but it worked great and they all worked so well together. It also occupied them for about 3 hours while Eric and I did chores in and around the house.
Saturday night it was off to the ice skating rink for another birthday party. This time for our neighbor Tristen. Friday, February 17, 2012
Disneyland!
I took the day off yesterday and surprised the boys with a trip to Disneyland. Julie joined us and it was such a great day! It's so nice that they are at the age where we can just load them in the car and go. And what made it even nicer is that they were great to each other too. (most of the time)
The classic jungle cruise. I know it's blurry, but I love the his cheek and the sun coming thru the trees. Tuesday, February 14, 2012
Biking & Skating
On Saturday the boys and I biked down to drop Ty off with his after school group to do the 5.4 mile Tour de Palm Springs. He was so excited and proud that he did so well. He had a great time and after I picked him up it was straight to DHS for his last soccer game of the season. Just in time since baseball practice started on Sunday. Eric also rode in the Tour, he did the 65 mile on his new road bike and had a blast. He claims the 100 mile is next.
Sunday it was off to the Ice Castle in Cathedral City for Peyton's 10th birthday party. It was fun, and chilly!!!
