A week of Rose's

On the 17th Eric's friend Jeff, best man at our wedding, and his beautiful family came and visited us from Minnesota for a week.  We had such a great time with them.

Sunday we went to Polo with Julie and the Posas and enjoyed the company, horses and the weather.

Monday we all went on a wonderful hike in Ladder Canyon.  2 1/2 hours and the kids were awesome!!

The boys love having Nadja here.  She was so much fun, loved the boys and they loved her.

On their last night we got a sitter and went out, the boys went home to relive her and Biba and I stayed out for a while, I had such a great time hanging out with her and talking....maybe too good.

It was a great visit with the wonderful Rose family, I can't wait until next time!! xxoo

Saturday morning came early with 3 more basketball games.   Mace scored all 7 points for his team.

Luke's team won and he scored 12 of the 14 points. 

Ty's team lost in the last 40 seconds, a great game.

Sunday I went to Polo with clients and Eric took the boys ice skating, they love it!!

I don't know how but IPhoto just started showing these pics again so here goes.  This was the paddling part. Ty got his own, Eric and Mason shared and Luke shared with me.

The views were amazing!

Next was the swimming portion and Mason was on my back the whole time and Eric had Ty and Luke hanging on him the whole time. Not ideal but still so super cool.

Last but certainly not least, 14 zip lines!!! After I got over my anxiety of climbing up the towers, it was really cool.  3 ended in water and there was a water slide in the middle too.

A day we will remember forever!!

XPLOR!

By Friday, our last day, we were all feeling better and decided to go to XPLOR.  The kids had really been looking forward to this so I'm so glad we were able to go.  It was so cool.  We did these vehicles, cave swimming, cave canoeing and 14 zip lines!!  3 of them ended in water and some went through waterfalls.  The food was surprisingly really really good and we were there when they opened at 9 and stayed until they closed at 5. A prefect end to a great trip with some pretty amazing friends.

We took the bus to Cancun, so much cheaper than a cab and super nice.

The next 3 days....

The next 3 days were spent recovering for all of us.  We stayed close to home and only ventured out for a bit here and there.

It was not to hard to force ourselves outside with weather like this!!

Dinner with the fam.  All feeling better but still not 100%.

These little guys were handing around every morning, we had no idea what they were but that didn't stop the boys from feeding them one day.
