Luke, Mace and I enjoyed a few sushi nights at the Posa's, compliments of Zolt. He does an awesome job and the boys eat all they can.
Despite the heat it was packed! The new Marilyn Monroe statue is quite popular and they show her movies on Friday nights.
Then on to the infamous hat store. I had to break down and get them each one. Mace got the cute bear, and Luke, well...now he looks like he belongs in LMFAO.
Sunday Julie and I took them up to Idyllwild for some hiking. They were troopers and wore the 'Who pooped in the woods' shirts Eric got them in Alaska. The examined EVERY poop for about the first hour in great detail. They really wanted to see and arctic fox and a moose. No luck in SoCal.
A stop at Lake Fulmer on the way home made for a nice picnic and walk around the lake. A wonderful weekend with my little men.
This past Friday they had a sleepover at their camp. I enlisted one of Ty's best friends Christian, to look after them. Best night they said!!
Saturday I took them and Zoe to go ice skating, they have been asking for weeks and even want their birthday party there. Done, they had a blast!!
And that night I told them we could have a dinner date where ever they wanted...and they choose-Fisherman's of course!!
Sunday morning my parents picked them up and jetted the lucky little boys to San Diego. First stop-The Midway, a retired Navy aircraft carrier, downtown. Eric and I took all the boys there last summer and they lasted for hours, so many questions. So I told them they have to take their Papa down there since he lived on one in the Navy and could tell them all they need to know. How fun!!
And today, a trip to the San Diego Zoo. My mom used to take me monthly with I was a little girl. Again, how lucky are they??
In the meantime, somewhere in Northern Minnesota, Ty his having the time of his life with Daddy and Tony at Grandma Nellie's cabin near Walker. Summer rocks for this family.
