Eric, Luke and Mason left in late June to head to Minn for the annual trip. They got to spend some time helping out FroYoSoul with Zack & Jessi.
We had a great 4th of July weekend at the cabin with grandma and both Kari and Jill's families.
The boys did lots of tubing and wake boarding.

Eric's cousin Sarah and her husband Nic and son Asher joined us for dinner one night at the cabin.
We met up with my parents while in Minn to spend a day with them touring Waldorf and some of my dad's favorite spots where he grew up. This is the main street of Waldorf. Population 197.
The house he grew up in on the farm.
We went to visit his parent's grave and ended up talking to the groundskeeper who used to bale hay for my grandfather and remembered my dad being a great basketball player.
We went to his high school buddies farm, 1000 acres of corn and soybeans, lots of chickens, pigs and great hospitality.

We had dinner and drinks at Lake Harriett one night.
And I made my first pie ever. Fresh rhubarb from my aunts garden and strawberries.
It was delicious!!
Best part of the trip, time with this guy.
