On Friday I had Drew and Ethan back since our flight from PSP to DEN was about 6 hours late and we would have missed our Denver to Kas flight so they got to spend an extra night with us! I took all 5 boys downtown for some ice cream, I don't know if you can tell but Drew had chocolate....
Saturday we we ended up trying to get to KC again. Our plane left 3 hours late due to a snow storm in Denver (that was headed to KC, lucky us) and by the time we got to Denver and spent 3 hours in the airport, our flight was cancelled. Ty was AWESOME with his cousins, keeping them happy, entertained, in line....I really don't know what I would have done without him. We spent the night in Denver and due to the storm headed East ended up renting a car Sunday morning and driving 6 hours to meet Jono, my brother in law in Hays, KS and then heading the next 5 hours together to their house. It was a very long travel to only spend 36 hours with my sis and her fam, but worth it in the end.
Ty was enamored by the snow, shoveled at the hotel, as soon as we reached my sister's and played outside in it for hours. So cute.
Monday afternoon we went sledding at Jono's parents house, I even went down a few time, I forgot how fun and cold it can be!
A short 36 hours after we arrived Ty and I jetted off to Vegas. It was so much fun hanging out with him, we did everything he wanted, shopping, pizza, playing games....it was a fun filled day!
We ended the night with a game of lasers at Excalibur. What a fun few days with my oldest. We drove home today and are looking forward to spending the rest of break with family and baseball. I am one lucky girl.
Happy Easter!
