2 days in Ocean Beach

Last week the Posa's rented a little place in OB and asked us to come for a visit so I loaded the twins in the car Saturday morning soon after Eric and Ty walked to the airport for their summer adventure in Minnesota.

It was cloudy and a bit chilly but that doesn't stop these boys from enjoying the beach!!

We had a snack overlooking the beach and the pier. Kids table and adult table, perfect!

Zoe at the tidepools.

Mace looking good.

Tash & me.

Double scoops for my sweet boys.

And Zoltan, rolling the beer home on the scooter. And yes, there was an incident where we lost two...

Dog beach at sunset.  Bird beach too if you're technical about it....

Mace watching the action in relax mode.  It was so fun watching Daisy at the beach, a true water dog.

Sleepers.  Guess the pizza from PizzaPort helped in putting us all to sleep!

A morning walk to the pirate coffee shop.

Lunch at the famous Hodad's.  I can't remember the last time I actually ordered a cheeseburger, and I did, and it was Fantastic!!!

Me, Tash & Pacifico. A good day.

The Posa's left after lunch and we could not pass up this cloudless day at the beach so we played, relaxed and built some pretty rad sand castles!

My pretty posers.

Love this guy.

Best friends.

And tuckered out little boys.  A great time with them and a wonderful weekend with friends!!!

Planes, neighbors and a birthday

Luke posing.

Last week we went to dinner at my parent's for my dad's birthday.  The dinner was wonderful and the boys enjoyed placing, lighting and helping Papa blow out his candles.

Our fabulous neighbors from Vancouver were in town for the week.  The boys had a great time hanging out with Greer and Lola and spending lots of fun time with them, at camp and in the pool!

Lola and Ty. So cute.

More of Papa and his boys.

Sunday we tried to beat the heat.  I took my boys and Roman to the Air Museum.  It's pretty cool.  Lots of stuff for them to touch and try out.

My little soldiers.

Happy Belated 4th!!

On the 4th Eric was in Alaska so the boys and I headed down to our favorite beach town, Carlsbad!!

The day was cloudy and a bit chilly but that didn't stop them enjoying some beach time.

Kerri & Niko's neighborhood had a great block party including a talent show with the kids.  Ty went first doing the diablo.

Lukey was a brave second with a street drum and song.  He was so cute and no nerves at all in front of all the people.

The audience.

The boys ended the show with some shuffling.

A walk down to the lagoon for some fireworks.

Stylin...

July 6th the boys had a bittersweet last day at Kiddie Kollege.  They have been there for 4 years, hate to leave but so excited to join Ty and the big kids at FKO for the rest of the summer.

After the 4th the littles ones and I headed home leaving Ty in Carlsbad to hang with Roman.

They did his fave, K1 speed and he tore it up like a champ.

Back home for some pool kayaking.

Our last photo of the killer snake, Zeus.

Zeus tried to make a snack out of Ty, so he had to go.  I was never too fond of it, especially when Eric was gone and I had to feed it.  So long Zeus.  You will not be missed.....
